Did you know ?

Merlot is a red grape variety that was long considered a secondary variety until the phyloxera crisis at the end of the 19th century. Since then, it has won its letters of nobility, particularly in Pomerol and Saint Emilion, where it reigns supreme, producing supple, fruity wines with soft tannins that make it very accessible when young without diminishing its great ageing potential.

Producing a French whisky finished in Merlot casks means seeking smoothness and notes of jammy red fruit.
